90% of the time i insert my swap magic dvd rom loader it does not load, sometimes the disc just stops or keeps spinning until a disc read error comes out, the cd rom loader doesnt even load, everytime i've tried it it comes disc read error, i then proceeded to insert a ps2 game, i tried DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi, it worked great, then 50 cent: Bulletproof, loaded without no problem, then i tried swap magic again and it didnt load, the disc just stopped, i need help with this problem, maybe i need a new disc or maybe theres a solution.

I had the same problem with my first SM DVD. You can try cleaning the lens, but more than likely you got a poorly pressed disc. Try contacting the company that you got it from and get a replacement.

I cleaned the lens and still, i think my disc is defective, now everytime i put it in, it just stops and says disc read error, the same goes for the cd loader.

yeah ive heard of this i think some said they have to be a certan one (pic on disk)

rephaze some are better disks than other how long you had it and can it go back from where it came

I've had it for only 2 days, its a brand new disc no stratches, it still loads sometimes but 90% of the time the disc either stops or the ps2 red error screen comes up, when it does load i play my backups fine with no problem, the problem is getting swap magic to load.

I have the same problem except my ps2 never loads it brings me to the browser and it tells me it is a dvd disk click on it same thing this happened after the no soldermod burned my ps2 it just broke down so i bought one and repaired it never plays my swap magic and like plays 4 of my games soooo... i was wondering the same thing.

if its only 2 days old i would contact the cimpany you got it from and ask for refund or replacement
