i was trying to modd my xbox like a dumb a*s then i think i deleted my ms dash and now i cant load another dash or go on live i dont have a main menu its bin like this for about 2 munths and my mom dont know and i dont want her to can someone help me fix it plz

what kinda of exploit did you use, I would reload your exploit and see if there are any options to help you. If worst comes to worst and you were paying attention and got a back up of your eeprom, you could use slayers boot disc to reformat the hd back to stock

i messed up my xbox tryin ta softmod 2 now im gettin a n error message so i cant get on the dashboard without the message coming up......i can play games though even though all of my gamesaves have been deleted...including linux installer and splinter cell linux installer......i gotta fix my xbox or my mom will kill me and i cant tell her what i was tryin ta do cuz it's ilegal and she probally wouldn't understand.....if u can help me n any sorta way please do.....if u can read this but can't reply and know wht to do send a message to my email: speedy527@Cinci.rr.com.......also if you gotta xbox that u dnt want and will neva use agian send me a email.....i cant pay till summer of '06 though

Sounds like a prob a had with the splinter cell file.
I fixed it by downloading The SID4.5 Installer and doing it that way.
I had a tense five mins whilst i was staring at a blank screen.
I swore cursed, Found my insurance details ready to hoy it down the stairs and i double tapped the eject button and UNLEASH X Booted,
Flabbergasted i did a hast FTP to preserve my Backup dash's and then crossed my fingers and turned it off.
I pressed the little power button. Nothing but a black screen. I ejected the drive. Nothing. I pushed the Drive back in XBOX LOGO. I pressed eject again.XBOX LOGO then UNLEASH X.
I presume that you have to skip the XBOX's Auto run feature by ejecting twice. Try it, you never know it may be the solution.

i know what to do to soft mod but i dnt have a regular ms dashboard or a soft modded dashboard i dnt have any...as soon as i turn on the xbox w/ the disc tray empty a error message comes up saying i need customer service.....the only thing i can do is play games........ does any one know what i can do to return it back to normal

I get error message 21 but i ogt the evox dashboard but i deleted i think the old ms dashboard and i did a hard mod and i already have slayers auto installer 2.6 PLEASE HELP

@numbers an ftp is a file transfer protocal.sid is a slayers autoinstall disk which you can use to fix broken xboxes or to mod them.it shouldnt matter whether you use 3.0 or 4.5 should still work.an ftp involves linking your xbox to a computer in order to transfer files over.
@smigs you need to reinstall your msdash.

Hi Im guessing the eeprom file was deleted try taking the hard drive and putting it into your computer and make sure it is set to slave or cable select and if u have a friend who is willing take his drive copy eeprom and all the original files onto your compuer then put your xboxs drive in and then you put the files on your drive
