Should I not try to back up full menu if the bar is in the red? How much is too much compression?

Well if it's a normal 4.7 disc, I set the target size to 4355, take out any non-English lanuages, and let it do its thing.... Seems to work :)

@gramsie
I try to keep mind 70% or better and I usually do full back up. Sometimes I go to down to 60% but it depends on the media your using and your tv (ie hd). The one I usually watch them on is 37" so I see no quality loss.
In clone you can also uncheck off any unwanted extras and audio to improve the amount of compression.
Clone will not let you back up/burn to disc on a DVD5 if the bar is in the red. Uncheck what you don't want. Also if you don't really need the menus then just do a movie only back up - this will keep compression very low or none needed at all depending on the movie.
