I am actually trying to burn Brothers Grimm (I know other threads on it but I can't figure it out). Just curious with what I currently have can I make the burn.

DVD Shrink
AnyDvd (tried trial version but I run into the out of memory area because of the buffer)
Vobblanker (do not actually know how to use this, tried saving to folder but it burned bits and pieces with colored screens)

Just curious cuz I am not an expert by any means and was wondering what i was doing wrong

Download DVDFab Decrypter, if you already have it uninstall it and redownload and reinstall. Rip to HDD using this program, then open VobBlanker--supply with a source folder (the one DVDFab created) and a target (create a new folder to distinguish this one from the original folder created by DVDFab)--hit process...wait. Open DVD Shrink and edit as wanted and burn.

Here is a guide for DVDfab and DVD Shrink, you'll just have to add the VobBlanker step into the middle of it.

Use your ripped movie as your source file, designate a folder you have named as your output file. Hit process. Open Shrink and then browse to the folder you created, open the folder it is the container for all the files. Then process through Shrink as usual.

You aren't doing anything wrong, the copy protection on that movie gives you the 'out of memory' error...I had a hard time getting this movie too , because it was one of the first movies that had this type of protection on it, but it's fairly simple now. Just follow the example Arnie posted, and you should be set.

And one more note if you EVER have any similar problems with backing-up a movie in the future, try this method, it has worked everytime for me...

Thanks. Worked great and was easy to follow. Takes a lot longer than normal but well worth it.

Glad it worked out for you, yes it does take a little bit more time but dealing with the new protection has been a challenge. Happy burning to you :)

@arniebear, friend I know this is off topic, but just curious...do you use snagit to capture those screen images? I downloaded the trial and it seems to work great. Just wondering. Hey congrats on the addict promo. You are a wealth of knowledge and have helped me so many times. Thanks again. Been tied up with a variety of things so I have been in and out at ad. Good to be back.
I didn't seem to have any problem with Brothers Grimm...used Recode 2 and Rebuilder/CCE Basic...both worked fine.
Have a good day.

Photbucket is an online images host, you capture the screenshot and upload it to the site (after you've created an account) and then you copy and paste the url of the pic to here as needed.

http://www.photobucket.com
http://www.imageshack.com

Both of these are good online hosts.
