I have an image of a disc that i am trying to install. There seems to be two files for the CD tho. One is a MDF and the other is a 1kb MDS. So if I understand correctly to make a disc, I would need to convert the images into files using something such as ISObuster or Alcohol 120% correct? Do I convert both files and try squeezing them both onto a CD? Thanks for the patience with us noobs.

I'm not familiar with those programs, but I am familiar with Daemon-tools. You can get it at www.daemon-tools.cc After you install it, I think they'll ask for you to restart your pc -- I don't think it's necessary.

Open Daemon Tools... you should get the daemon-tools icon in your bottom-right corner. Right-click it, and you'll bring up the menu. Go to the top option "CD/DVD Emulation" a submenu will come up. The top option should be something like "Device 0:[D]No Media" your's might look different, but hover over it, and another menu should come, this one says "mount image" click that.

Now, what you've done is basically the same thing as putting a cd in your cd-rom drive. If you go to My Computer, and go to the D: drive, or if your "Device 0:" had another letter after it, try that. Right-Click the drive and "open" -- you should see all your files there. You can burn from there if you want, or just install the thing as-is. your choice.

**When you're done go back to the icon and do Virtual CD/DVD-ROM>Unmount all drives, otherwise you'll get a "this program is being used by another person or program" error message, if you try to move or delete them.
