Hi everyone, any help would be appreciated with my problem as i have been trawling the internet and think i have come up with the solution but have no idea how to work the software. Put simply this is what i need help with
1: trying to compress 2 dvds so i can burn to one 4.7gb dvd (take it this can be done)
2: downloaded dvd-shrink 3.2 and nero7 but have no idea how to work either (havent even looked at nero yet as i have just this minute downloaded it)
3: dont know how to delete unwanted menu's, extras in dvd shrink
4: dont know how to do anything really apart from tick the subtitle etc that arent needed, I understand how to compress it manually by dragging the bar tool along to desired file size.

I have only been using very simple software to copy my dvds (clonedvd coupled with anydvd) and this looks a bit more complex but I really want to know how it all works. So if anyone can help me with a quickstep process and let me know if 2 dvds can be copied to one through dvd shrink I would be eternally grateful.

On a totally different note a friend asked me if copying dvd's to cdr can be played on a dvd player and not just a computer, I said yes not being a 100%, am I right???

Cheers anyone

Click on the guides tab at the top of the AD home page. There's a guide for just about anything.

There is a guide in my signature specifically for DVDShrink and DVDdecrypter. These will guide you through the process.

i also have q's about this and have read your guides. I am curious, how i can use DVD Shrink with my DL'd files. Can I use it to convert to DVD from .AVI and then shrink and then send to Nero to burn. If so where can i find a guide with that info? If not, can u tell me the programs to use to do this. I have Avi2dvd right now and easy DVD Shrink, i can get just about any program too, if these are not worthy, but i need help, these files are taking up way too much disk space! hehe
thank u

@Giantoes
First you wanna rip the movies to your HD I use (DVD Decrypter )then you use DVD Shrink in 'Re-author' mode you just drag, and drop the ones named 'maine movie, or main title whatever it is), then just press back-up.

@Lukerskut
Divx2DVD is a good prog for converting avi file(s) to DVD format.

Here's a link for the prog

I assume you have whole movies, and just want one to each DVD, if not give more info so we can be more of a help to you...

Thanks again
