My Questions are will nero recode remove copyrights like shrink will? And if not what do you use it for i have always used shrink or decrypter or vob blanker or now fab decrypter and have not found a dvd i could not copy yet. Will recode have any conflicts with my other ripping software? Before i install it and try it i wanted a little more info first. After all more info could save time and trouble later.

Nero recode will not remove copyrights. A lot like Nero Recode 2 because of the speed. Genreally 45 minutes to recode as opposed to 90+ minutes with Shrink. The way I understand it is that the maker of Shrink is the one who made Recode 2 and that is when the support for Shrink was discontinued? But that could just be a urban legend? You can still use Nero if you have AnyDVD, or use DvdFab or DvdDecryptor first. I've been messing with both lately. Nero's got a lot of options to do other stuff that has peaked my interests.

Nero Recode cannot rip copy protected dvd's by itself ..i use dvdfabdecryptor to rip complete dvd to HD , find it quicker than shrink or DvdD on my system , also will do new encryptions .. Then use recode version 2.2.6.17 movie only mode to import ts files . on best quality settings , find it is also quicker than shrink IMO on my system .. BTW author of shrink is also author of recode if i read some posts here correctly as is updated ..as opposed to shrink .
Have had no conflicts with recode so far .. has dvds , dvdd dvdfabexpress , and dvdfabdecryptor loaded .. used Shrink for a long time , but liking recode more and more .. just my 2cents worth ..
