ok i have the jap white PSP and want to play my Region 1 umd movies i have the 2.6 firmware is there anything out there that i can use

im sorry but if you already have the 2.60 firmware there is nothing i can do

here is why in order to get region free

you need:

1.a psp with firmware 2.00 japanese

2.a firmware 2.50 update us english

3.a firmware update us english 2.60

run the japanese update first once finished it will unlock region 2 umd movies then run the firmware version 2.50 english update it will then unlock version 1 umd movies then install version 2.60 us

When the new firmware comes out if i update to it useing the us version do you think it would unlock region 1? or is there any way to go back from version 2.6

I currently have 2.60 US running on my PSP. When I try to downgrade to 2.0 Jap it tells me that there is no need to downgrade as I have a newer version.
How can I downgrade anyway?
