Depends what you wanna do.
I love Avalaunch as it talks to Quix1.01 when backing up games/saves
The Latest XBMC is fantastic as A media server Dashboard with full Networking capabilities (latest one can surf the web as well via ICS)
Unleash X is just dull/bland and the screensaver grips my S&*T! Beeping every 10 secs! Really annoying when transfering files across.
AND The latest DVD2XBOX is now Dash capable but nowhere near as good as the others.
Save the Best to Last....EVO X Just for its easy Config
Pick a role for your Xbox then pick a dash not the other way around :-)

I personnaly rate unleash-x.
it has great features, such as being able to increase the fan speed, which several x-boxes suffer with overheating.
it does have issues, like others.
The most stable-reliable dashboard has to be evolution x.
easily useable and you can get plenty of backdrop skins et,c.
compatible with slayers auto-installer et,c et,c.

There are several different ways to do things, if you have a bios manager tool, you can create a bios that will boot evox or unleash x or even avalaunch.
i,d always recommend evox, especially if your running evolution x as a dashboard.
for custom built bioses contact me direct.
