I am trying to copy a DVD and I was getting an error message saying
"failed to read file E..data error(cyclic redundancy)"
I used the dvd decrypter and dvd fab and when I tried backing up with dvd shrink,i still got the same message.
Any suggestions ?????

That means that it's either too dirty or too scratched. OR might be a bad press, exchange for a diff one is that's the case.

Try AnyDVD running in the backround (5.8.4.1 or higher) then process with DVD Shrink as normal.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you COULDN'T rip w/ FAB and DVDD. Yeah, definitly run it through VOB.
