Is this happening on all movies, or only certain movies. Post your failed Nero log so someone can look at it. It can be found in My Computer under Program Files/Ahead/Nero/Nero History.

It will be helpful if you can post your failed Nero log to look at.

I had the same problem-if you use DVD Shrink do not shrink the dvd all the way only shrink it to what it has to be--i recommend using DVD Decrypter to rip it and analyze and burn the dvd using dvd shrinks software-also shutdown all processes while ripping and burning the dvd and maybe there might be some error with the burner(Hardware issue) try a scandisk and DEFINETLY A DEFRAG half the programs made for Windows cannot work at full potential until you defrag the computer. Tell me how it goes.

If you have to use Nero to burn the dvd be very carefull which options you select because even in the totally updated version of Nero it still has many glitches in it. Try using dvd shrinks built in burning program.

I am pretty sure you can use (the built in burning program DVD Shrink has--i have been using it for years--you can tell the ripped dvd to encode and burn to dvd-i would post instructions but i am at school right now.
Look for an option to burn to disc
or start encoding--its hard just pulling it out of the top of my head)

QUOTE FROM SITE
"DVD Shrink will also burn your backup DVD, if you have installed the latest version of Nero. You can download a demo version of Nero here. If you already possess alternative burning software and prefer to stick with it, then you can still use DVD Shrink. The output from DVD Shrink can be saved as files on your hard drive, which you can then burn with software of your choice.
DVD Shrink is free software. You should never pay for DVD Shrink.
Specifications:
DVD Shrink - DVD Ripping and Backup
Latest Version - 3.2.0.15
Operating System Support - Windows 9x/2000/XP
License - Freeware

DVD Shrink does not burn, just rips and compresses you need another program to burn such as Nero or DVD Decrypter. Shrink by itself will not burn as you will see if your read your own description post.

I know i said DVD Shrink could burn because he said that he already had Nero-no need making things more compicated-takes longer too fix problems when they are

Meanwhile, go here and read through the guides and make sure you are doing the process correctly.
http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php
Shrink should be compressing your file to fit your disk, unless your data is small enough to fit on a 4.3g disk. Also, if you are doing newer protected movies Shrink alone cannot handle them. Posting your logfile will help to determine your computer specs and if everything is working correctly.
