Problem copying Ice Age

I have tried copying "Ice Age" DVD using DVDShrink and DVD Decryter. I think this DVD has a bad sector. Once it gets done reading 51%, I get the following error message:
I/O Error:
SciStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 28 00 00 1A 62 E1 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read(10) - Sector: 1729249
Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 64 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Illegal Mode For This Track

Is there a way to get rid of this error.

Sounds like a bad disk, try cleaning or get another original. Decrypter should have no problem with this movie other than it has a widescreen and a fullscreen addition on it.

get the big candy thumb print off the bottom of the DVD about 49% from the edge made by the kids who played it last. LOL seen enough of those.

Actually I had a problem backing-up Ice Age as well, so what I did was run it through Vob Blanker...

(same with Monster's Inc.)

I have done this movie with a 3 year old Xcopy program and had no problem. This is an easy movie.
