Hi. DVD Decrypter has been dead (no longer updated) for a while I recommend using AnyDvD/Shrink.

AMD Athlon 64 3800 X2, 1GB RAM, 200GB HDD.

By now I think you are aware that these are really bad media, most problems relating to burning are caused by use of these discs.
Bite the bullet and trash them, get yourself some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden and burn at around 4X.

I dont believe that it has anything to do with DVDDecrypter.

I thought he was trying to rip? Well then I guess the media is the problem.

Decryptor is capable of ripping.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

It's a write error, check and make sure your burners firmware is up to date. Try another brand of media, your burner is not liking these.

Out of curiousity, are you still using the memorex discs. If you do strike problems in future and you ARE using memorex, try another brand such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden before posting a thread, Cheers and happy burning.

im use to have problems with burning until i updated my firm ware for my burner and slowed my speed down to 4x instead of 16 . try to use it at 1/2 the speed of what the disc is rated like 16x do it at 8x or lower. I have burnt over 40 movies in the last 3 months with no problems, i use dvddycrypter and 1 click dvd ,it cost $58 but just one click to burn and copy.
