Hi everyone. This is my first post here so please bear with me. OK I have an AVI file which I encoded to DVD vob files these files play perfectly on my PC :) So I burned the files using nero to DVD-R and tried playing the DVD on my stand alone dvd player. The picture was perfect but the sound was messed up (like listening to a high pitched alien). The DVD player connects to my TV through audio/video cables which connect to a scart plug then into my tv. I pluged the audio/video cables direct into the sockets in the fromt of my tv and sound worked fine....... Anyone got any ideas why the scart socket messed the sound up????
