Dvd shrink, Cloner III, DVD Decrypter won't up load!!

I've been using cloner 2 for 2 years time with great success! Started having problems with the software not wanting to decode movies, got the up grade, now cloner 3, more issues, I now have dvd shrink, and I have dvd decrypter and none them work, the software starts to work and all quit at 50%, there is something conflicting with in the system and I can't find it. I use sonic to burn, i have disabled dell media center, because it was always trying to run when i wanted to up load to the hard drive. My brother in law told me about dvd shrink, he has total success with it. I've done virus scans and spyware sweeps daily. I cant figure out whats going on. I'm not new at this, I now have a problem and I can't figure it out on my own. Need Help.

What movies are you trying to backup? If they have sony or macrovision copy protection, thats your problem. Instead of using DVD Decrypter since it's not been updated in quite a while try fab decrypter (it's free) + shrink+ Nero. COPIES EVERY MOVIE. If you want the best programs clone dvd2+anydvd=Best 1-2 punch for copying.

All dvds or certain titles?

The newer encryptions are getting tougher. Check out this thread and see if some of those dvds you are trying to backup is on that list:

50% of what?
Analyzing/encoding/or burning?

If during the burn,give us the brand name/format/or MID code of your blank media. Also if you changed anything about your media like: Spindle-case pack/speed rate/format.

Thanks for the response, BUT.... Nero won't install at all, and its 50% of analyzing and encoding and every dvd

also again, changed nothing! same discs memorex DVD+R 16x 4.7g 120m,
it was a pack of 50discs, now more than 1/2 way thru them

If you don't have anything important on your computer you might want to re-format your hard drive. Sometimes it's nice to get a fresh start.. Or try to use system restore to an earlier date.

You might want to get rid of the Memorex discs, they are not very good media. Try so Taiyo Yudens, Verbatims or Maxells.
