I have an xbox and modded that, i also have a ps2 but is it the only way of modding it by getting a modchip and swaping HDD's? Just wondering

You could:
1). Buy a modchip
2). Use Swap Magic(won't voild your warrenty)
3). Get a network adapter, any hard drive and hd loader/hd advance

Cheapest is Swap Magic which loads all backups but won't load DVD-9 which there are only like 5 total and can be shrunk to work. Cost about 20$

Modchips boot everything no swaping but cost almost 100$

HD Loader/HD Advance works with 95% of games but you have to buy a Hard Drive and network adapter so it costs about 150$

I would get Swap Magic and if you want to play games of the HD you can download HD Loader and buy a network adapter and hard drive
