Now none of my two drives, the DVD-ROM nor the DVD-RW drive is reading the backup discs, I only use FUJI, Memorex, Sony, TDK discs. The movies read on my PS2, and Xbox, and dvd players. Someone tell me why this isn't working.

Throw out the Memorex and TDK's and keep the Sony and Fuji's if they are made in Japan...don't burn over 4X, and don't apply adhesive labels.

All I know is that when I try to backup an original movie, (the ones I buy in the store) work, i mean the computer reads it, but the backup of it doesnt even show up. It shows up on every other player someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well some of the media you used is iffy but let's start w/ what are your drive's - make and model and current firmware versions?
When you insert a disc does windows recognize it? Are you trying to watch these one the pc or rerip?
