Did a backup copy of Doom using DVDFab express but when I play the movie on my Mac powerbook the movie just freezes. Does anyone else have this problem?

@etherburn
What kind of media(discs) did you use? If you use some crappy discs like CMC MAG, you get can get a crappy burn. Also, what speed dit you burn at? You should use good media, like Verbatim, TY, Sony or Maxell MIJ and not burn faster than x4 or x8.

I definately don't like Memorex, because they are the only DVD's that I've had problems with. I've backed-up movies with these discs, they played fine at first, but after a while (within a month) they stopped working all together. And yeah there were a lot of 'coasters' from the spindle of x8, and even more from the spindle of x16...

Although the spindle says x8 or x16, I would not go faster than half speed. For top notch quality media, like Verbatim or Tayio Yuden, you can burn faster.
