DVD2AVI - Not sure how to save project so WAV & AVI files are created?

Ok, I read the tutorial for DVD2AVI and followed it to the 'T', but there were some differences in the final outcomes. I'm trying to save my project so i have a WAV file of the audio and a AVI file of the video, but all i get is somethin like blablabla.wav (it's really big) and blablabla.d2v. OR [i switched some settings around to see if i could get it to work right] i got a .ac3 file that was really big and another .d2v file. if there is anyone who understands what my problem might be, PLEASE let me know :P

Try VirtualDubMod for encoding and audio demuxing:
