Mode 7 allowed the SNES to manipulate the graphics on certain ganes. Mario Kart for one uses it.
Current emulator I have can't play it.
I am using SNES 9xtyl 0.3me. Don't know if there is a better emulator ?

if you bring up the options and change the screen size to fit. it will stretch it to the size of the screen.
also if you set your clock speed to 333 - it will run faster
also if you mess around with the frame skip (going up in 1's) you may be able to get it to run perfectly

just pull the anolog stick to the left even - ti will fetch up a gray screen - its on there
the screen stretch only works with the emu - it doesnt effect the psp in anyway

When ur playing the snes game, push the analog button up or down to speed up or down the frame rate push it to the left to bring up the rom settings menu. Push it to the right to turn frameskip on or off.

I've downloaded uo snes9x 002y32.
Instructions advise to install as follows:
{How to Install}
Place the {EBOOT.PBP} file in a folder marked {\PSP\GAME\SNES9X}.
Place the rom files wherever you wish.
Zip rom files are supported, but must only contain one file.
Access to SNES ROM images in *.smc, *.sfc, *.fig , format otherwise you will have nothing to run.
This emulator has only been confirmed to work with firmware Ver 1.00.
I've done this but get a message saying this game could not be started (80020001)
Where am I going wrong ? Should there be a folder called snes9z% and if so what do I put in it ?
