My take on this banning crap, is that the mods should have 4-buttoms to ban..
Warning to who ever would be first..and the warning would auto be placed under ye name.
1-warning,which would be under ye name for 10 days..
2-a 15 day ban.
3-a 30 day ban
4-a total ban
And a name should be auto placed under ye name say banned for 15 or 30days with the start date and ending date..
And when it reaches the end date ye are auto reinstated.
And a total ban it should say inactive.

Didn't know that. THought once a user had been banned they couldn't come back under that name.
That's not a bad idea ireland. Sort of like 3 strikes and your out.

the mods with the 4-buttons will pick which one is chosen to use.
it would not be a 3-strike deal...it would depend on what the guy did.
and the mods should be given guidelines to follow from the admin.

Toyotaman think about what you're asking. You are asking for a precedent to be created where anyone can flaunt the rules and get away with it. "Ozzymary" was banned and you really do need to get over it, seriously dude. I was one of those who all but held your hand through your rant and you made me regret that I did. Honestly I know kids who conduct themselves in a more mature fashion. You returned and asked us not to make any wise-cracks so that you could move on beyond your ban. We welcomed you back and honoured your wish, but you have not given the rest of us a chance to move on. This is the second thread you've started about your old pseudonym. Personally I'm not usually critical of others and I try not to post negative sentiments but honestly man, you twisted my arm. You SHOULD NOT be reinstated as OzzyMary for the rude comments you made to Ddp otherwise there would be anarchy created by this precedent. All this whining only gives credibility to what Ddp said so unless you love to be stigmatized then let go off the whole Ozzymary thing and move on. I tried to be nice to you before and you rewarded me and a whole bunch of others with flack. I know you're probably saying that you're only asking to have your old name back and there's no harm in that. If you can't see the harm in that and how selfish and unreasonable a request it is, then I scarcely think that you'll ever get beyond your old persona. More importantly, you would rather disruput the equilibrium of this site by placing your own interest above the greater good of this entire community, woefully disregarding the degradation of the moral fibre which holds this site together. That is in my opinion, a cause for concern.

I can't see you getting your old name back, but this all sounds familiar to me.....
I would just start again as Ozzymary, OzzyMary, ozzymary1, ozzymary2, you see where this is going.
I would just bite the bullet, keep your head down & start again. If they start to un-ban (?!) people, then I for one would lose respect for the whole forum, its' rules & admin. You got banned, end of story. Move on or move out!

Reason why a person was banned..and all banning must be reported to all members
per the mod who did the banning???.
This form must be filled out in triplicate and posted to all boards not less than 2 days prior to your intended ban of said person . banning will be reviewed the second Tuesday of each week from 1:10-1:15 am.
In no less than 5,000 word explain your reason said person was banned from afterdawn
