Well this guy has helped me beofore so when he told me that he had this i told him i'd help him, we've tryed a few things, running a diagnostic to check the RAM,thouroghly clean the system from all malware (nothing in there anyway) and i was going to check the hd for him because i assume somthings ucompatibe..
whats hapening is he one day installed some new graphis drivers, it was all going well, he said he was pleased with the results anyway after 3 days he started getting the dreaded bsods!!, it was sooo unstable we tryed alot of things but running the machine with thoose drivers made the pc unusable, we went back to default drivers now anyway, whats wrong?? does anybody know?? sounded like to me that his MotherBoard or Hd is umcompatible with thoose drivers..
heres the spec ( i have the full spec but its HUGE!!)

if you can get into safe mode do a system restore to a point before the problem started
Studio Comp: AMD Athlon XP 3200+ OC ~ 2.35GHz runs at 40 celcius idle and 48 under stress (aerocool GT1000 really works!), Asrock K7VT4A , 1024MB Dual Channel DDR 400, MSI Nvidia FX5200 128MB OC ~ 600MHz mem 350MHz core,80GB SATA + 200GB SATA + 120GB IDE, 7.1 Channel Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum EX sound and midi interface. 19" Sony SDM-HS95 TFT monitor - sweeet
Comp2: AMD Sempron 2400+ OC ~ 2.0GHz (Stable), Asrock K7S41GX, 512MB DDR 333, Onboard Graphics, 40GB Maxtor IDE
set of monitors on the way soon :P
Google is your friend...
WorkComp: LAPTOP, intel celeron D 2.4GHz, 256MB DDR, 20GB hd. NO SCREEN IT WAS SAWN OFF :S (bag of crap)

they must have some kind of conflict either with your operating system build or with some other piece of hardware in the system. sometimes the updated drivers arent always the best thing to get. wait till the next driver comes out and see if you have any more luck with that,
also email the card manufacturer and tell them about the problem you had with this driver, it may help improve the next version so it wont happen again

I agree with SypherTek 100% on this one. The new drivers might be fine in one persons system and not in another simply because of other software applications that may be in conflict.
(What was installed after those 3 days that it worked fine?)
A couple of years ago I had a similar issue with a graphic driver update and just went back to the previous version until a second newer driver came out.

yeh ive also had this kind of problem, the graphics card that is now in my 2nd system has got major conflicts with my main system, if i install the correct MSI driver for it, it causes BSODs random crashes etc but it works fine with the generic nvidia driver (which is no good as the msi driver lets me overclock it to 600MHz)

We all say that we didn't do anything... LOL
It could be auto updates from MS, etc. that helped to cause it since they just had a few auto updates in the last few days. :)
