Does pnp key fry your system? What are the symptoms?

I have a Pnp key chip and swap majic and ivnoticed that my original ps2 games load up slowly without using swap majic. Is that a clue that the chip is affecting my ps2? Do you guys have any ideas?

... that just sounds like your laser is dying what version of PS2 do you have? I Don't know anything about the PnP key but I heard it sucks.

I have a version 5. Crap my laser is dying! dang it, what do i do?
By the way when i use my swap majic it works perfectly!

Never mind, it got it it works now, the problem was simple. I checked my ps2 cd AGAIN in the light and i saw a little something stuck on it, i brushed it off, wiped my cd and now everything is fine, thnx thoaugh!

Hahaaa yeah sometimes you just need to clean your laser but be careful if I was you I would be using HD Loader for most of your games so your laser doesn't die and faster load times.
