Do most of you prefer the white or silver surface to use your inkjets to print on, which looks nicer? I've never tried the silver surface ones. Also, I'll ask this question in another forum if I need to but, I know most of you prefer Taiyo or Verbatims when it comes to DVDs, does the same hold true for CD-Rs? Again I will ask that question in the CD-R forum if i'm breaking the rules.

It's personal preference... I prefer the white. The silver printables have a holographic effect, but the colors are as rich and vibrant as the white. Buy some silver and compare...

i personally prefer the silver inkjet TYs, for the "holographic" look as teflonmyk alluded to, also, the colors are NOT as vibrant on the silver as they appear on the white inkjet printables...personal choice i guess~ :)

good luck with your decision, as long as you are using good quality media, you will be just fine with either... :)

I've used them both and I prefer the "Silver Inkjet printable" because of the special effects "holographic". Now I could only wish/hope that Taiyo Yuden Co. Ltd come up with some "Silver Inkjet hub printable" soon, man that would be so awesome.
