The use of VobBlanker might seem intimidating, complicated. Is piece of cake! Al you have to do is select input folder, output folder and click "Process".

Did you process ALL the files? Click "Proc all" in the right hand side, before hitting the "Process" button at the bottom of the screen

flytyer,
What movie are you trying to backup? And what software did you use to rip it?
Good luck,
Rich

Are you using DVDFAB Express, if so, do you have the latest version, which I believe is 2.9.7.2. And I take it that this movie is encrypted, correct? Have you tried ripping with AnyDVD, they offer a 21-day free trial @ http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html
Fresh out of ideas, for now.

Yes I have the newest version of DVDFAB Express
The movie just has dummy files that won't allow me to copy it
I tried AnyDVD before it the program does nothing or I dont know how to use it properly. When I went and clicked on ok it disappeared of the screen.

When you click ok, AnyDVD then goes down into the naviagtion bar of the Taskbar, so it is, or should be running.
What exactly are the error messages from VOB or DVDFAB?
Is it possible that the disc is dirty, scratched or a bad press?
HTH,

I would guess that to be correct. I am working on one of my own, that has the same problem, and I don't think I am going to solve it.

Yep, I got it ripped!!! I cleaned it with a cotton ball and windex, and then dried it with a dry cotton ball. I really didn't think it would work, because there were some scratches on it also.
So good luck to your venture,
Rich

Words of wisdom, as usual.
Hey buddy,
It took me hours to finally backup Legend of Zorro, I finally used DVDFAB, VobBlanker, and Recode2, and it was all good.

Rich

I want to thank you for your help in dealing with my problem. With the help of a jewelers loupe I found what is most likely the culprit for my problem......a miniscule scratch....it has to be that.
