Nope sorry 1.5 only,
Exp. To use the IR it need to run kernel mode which 2.0+ cant do, thru homebrew

Your thinking too deep, it just loads over the psps menu screen ie. shell so instead of seeing, photos, music, videos, games menu youd see the IR shell with options like,
IR commander remote, Screenshots, etc
To get this program runnning on a 1.5 psp you just need to copy the 2 eboot folders into PSP\GAME\ just like Fastloader or Umdemulator
Its not a permanent load your normal menu comes back once you exit this program.

It just turns my tv off and turns the volume up and down channels arent working its quite an old tv but hey, ill keep it on it may come in handy one day. In a room with a public tv like a doctors waiting room ill be able to watch what i want , maybe.
