Tricking a Memory card

Does any1 know how to add more memory to a card than what it comtains. I thought I saw something about that on another form, but cant seem to find it anymore. I have a 1gig card. If so can you do that to that cheap a** memry card that sony provides. ANY1 out there lets me know.

there is a programme that shrinks the size of files, so they take up less space...taht what u mean?

Make trick the PSP read more memory that is actually there. I have a 1gig Memory card. Want to see if I can make it read more so I can have alot more memory than what is already there to put more games on the card. Dont really know if this is possible, but it would be cheaper than spending more money on a bigger card.

i think you are talking about the expansion datel hard drive that comes with a 4gb harddrive for the psp...this happens just to be a compact flash card and if you open up the device you can add a bigger compact flash card like a 200gb....

bloody toilet got me.
on the net two long and my legs gave way. lol
nah just been finishing my forum and f*ing about with photoshop.
yeh there isn't away to trick the psp - and this has been asked before - not complaining just i have a good memory.
also no the psp wont at the moment lead anything above 4gb or at least thats what we are read to believe, you could always have loads of partitions of 4gb, but does the psp recognise multiple drives, now thats the question

from what i have read somebody has replace the stock compact flash that comes with the datel with a bigger one and the psp recognized it but i have not seen it in person...
