full ISO dump from original UMD, all goes smooth until it goes to load the actual race, then it sits, sits, sits...
i can exit out, but theres no memory card activity, and ive left it for like 5 minutes and it doesnt load.
tried
Dev Hook .22 (i think) UMD emulator .08c, and fastloader .7
all do the same exact thing...

my one worked fine..(when i had 1.5, then it stopped charging..ARGG), but try putting the Mhz to 333, or changing it to copy load, in UMD emulator 8.0c

Try rebuilding the ISO
1. Extract ISO with WinRAR to find PSP_GAME & UMD_data.bin
2. Download UMD ripper from here
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/180 and install
3. Use UMDRipper to rip out the unneccessary files that show up, dont rip the music and videos yet unless ripping the opthers didnt work.
4 Get UMDgen http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194 here
Now drag and drop the new PSP_Game and UMD-data.bin to the right side of UMDgen Go to File - EXPORT ISO
5.Try your newly built ISO, if itdont work try ripping out more stuff.

now it loads up fine... oh well, im happy... 181MB, thats nice........
as always.. mucho gracias... now if only i could get tony hawk remix to work... flippen spent like minimum 6 hours messing with that damn game.... might start a thread on that in a minute... heh

Stuck pixels can be fixed dead pixels cant. Are u sure they r stuck, dead pixels are black whereas stuck pixels appear any other colour. Theres stuck pixel fixers on the net get pspset it a nice psp utility for 1.5 users it has a stuck pixel fixer.

pretty sure they are stuck, cant see them on white background, only see them on black...
one is red, ones blue... none are black though.. i had a dead one on my last psp, VERY noticable...
i have this video i used for a few minutes, flashes red blue and green pretty fast then fades white and black, on repeat, is this what you are talking about to fix it?

Yeah thats the video keep running that supposed to fix it.
If it doesnt ive heard that this works.
Put you finger on the stuck pixel, turn off your psp, apply pressure on the screen not tooo hard, now turn it on. Remove your finger see if it worked.
