some of the regulars have been worn down by the pondlife who join forums just to wind ppl up. darth's talking of a spring clean in one of the threads, the link escapes me though

Pondlife..hmm, that's a generally kind term when you consider what some of these people are like. I can think of many a colourful word to describe them :-)
But seriously though, I come on here because I love helping people out.. It gives me a great feeling knowing that I have had a positive influence on someone's life. I know a lot of others here feel the same. That's why I hope nobody else leaves because of the idiocy of the, as creaky says, "pondlife" that pass through these forums.
Guys, don't let these people drive you out, otherwise there'll be nobody left but them.. and what a farce that would be!!

Its all about self control. I had to step away from AD as i thought AD might be contributing to my lack of self control in other areas of my life. NO, AD isnt the problem. Of all the addictions you can get out there, being addicted to this place has to be one of the least harmful ones. And, it is good to help someone other than #1 all the time. Wanna go inactive? Use an invaild e-mail account.. Im screwed up in the head, and yet i manage to help ppl here sometimes. Cant help myself, but sometimes i can help others. :)
