I recently bought a computer and nero6.6 came with it . I have been using dvdshrink for a couple of months now with no problems . However I accidently erased nero the other day not knowing that the two work together . SOOO I did a system recovery to get it back but now dvdshink or nero won't burn for me , it does all of the encoding but won't burn . Do I need to get 6.3 because that is what it says it needs ?? I am not sure wich program is giving me problems, could it be that I took out nero and had no disk to reinstall and do I need to install with the disk to get it to burn ??
If using nero6, you should be running version 6.6.0.18, the current 6.6.1.4 will not autoburn when used with shrink. Uninstall nero from your system and all associations to it using the nero general cleantool found here then reboot the PC:

Enter the serila# that came with the CD and you should be ok, make sure you also have shrink to burn with nero.
Note: If you uninstall a program, performing a system restore will not reinstall it for you, it just puts back relevent/associated registry entries. The program needs to be reinstalled.
Edit/preferences/File-I/O= Make sure enable burn with nero is ticked.

You want to make sure you have Nero burning rom. For some reason,I tried placing nero express on my cousins pc and it wouldn't take. Installing nero burning rom worked. Also when you download nero,leave out the INCD packet. That packet can screw us up. I use little old Nero 6.0.0.21b on all 3 of my pcs and she burns sweet as pie. My only trouble with nero was when I updated it to a newer version .I just use my oem disc.
