Im burning multiple xvid files with Burning rom -Iso files .. 6 x 700mb files . Its mostly movies that im burning. 1 is on 2 cds [ 2 700mb files ] I set it up so that the first cd 1 off the movie will play first then switch to cd 2 when my standalone switchs to the next file .For some reason nero is changeing the order that it burns the files , so that when i play in my standalone it plays the second part off the movie first [ cd2].. [ I have to manually select the first part , then go to the second ] Under view - arrange icons i have selected dont sort [ and tried all other options ] The files all show in the burning window in the order i want them , but after it burns the files are out off order .
I suppose the different files are from the same film...
Throw them on Nero Vision and make 1 film... You won't need to change cd's then...
If they are from different films, then Recode is tha man! That app is just fantastic... Throw the files in there and choose whatever comes to your mind... 1 film in 1,2,3 cd's... 3,4,5 cd's into 1,2 DVD's... ;)
No they are XviD files .. 5 movies on 1 dvd .. the movie that is 2 files [ each 700mbs] is the one im haveing problems with . XviD generally is made in 700 mbs files [ probably so you can watch them on cds ] long movies are sometimes 2 or 3 cds [700 mb files.]
I want Nero to burn it in a way , that my standalone will play first cd 1 of the movie then cd 2 . I have tried renameing the files and still Nero rearranges them . Allways in the past renameing the files has fixed the problem .
Oh i see... Use Recode then... You won't have no problems, the way you put them in, is the way they will be put in the final film... You can use the same names there... Have a few dry runs before you actually burn into the disk. If it plays fine off your HDD and you're happy with it, then burn the disk!
