I've had a problem with most of the last dvd's I've tried to back up. I'm using Sony DVD+R media and my burner is a NEC 3550A. I can decrypt, rip and burn movies with no problem. Once I put it in my player to watch it, everything works beautifully until about the last 5-10 minutes of the movie, and then it starts to skip really badly. I've set my target DVD size to 4300 MB to avoid burning to close to the edges, and I've tried different media, Verbatim. I don't know what else to do. Thanks in advance for any help.

A couple things come to mind--what speed are you burning at? Try to keep it to 4X or 6X--otherwise I would say media--I like TY and Verbatim and/or try to check disk on another player and see if it might be your player. Just some thoughts--good luck!
