Do I need Flasher software for this chip? What is the latest ot best BIOS to flash this chip?

Go to the DMS forms here:

Look around the forums there for the latest bios. If you have the EZI Lite then you'll want the TOXIC BIOS. If you have the EZI Pro then you'll want the TOXIC OS.

you can get the latest DMS flash from dms3.com and it's version 0.6 this is what the chip comes with originaly, it will only play homebrew applications in this state, you will need to flash to a 3rd party flash in order to play a backup disk.

for the latest 3rd party flash that would be Toxic 1.4 for a bios (for the Lite chip) and Toxic OS v0.41 (for the Pro chip) and they can be picked up at http://www.teamtoxic.com.cn/
