I doubt anyone will be able to help, but I was wondering if there's some way to take a picture from a PSP ISO. Example (or more like case in point): For Maverick Hunter X, is there a way to extract the in game art?

Any help (even, "You're wasting your time") would be greatly appritiated.

ya easily just extract the .iso and u'll get the pictures and everything. Right click the .iso and hit extract with WinRAR and ull get to files and just look around in those and save the images.

In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

I've tried that, but I think the pics are embedded in the DAT files, or something else. The only images that come up are those of the UMD menu...

Yes, when you extract the iso with WinRAR (www.win-rar.com)A folder will be made with PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA in it. Click the PSP_GAME folder and the picture will be called PIC1.PNG always. You can convert the PNG file to JPEG with paint shop pro or photoshop. The pictures make great backgrounds becuase they are 480x272(the psp screen res.).

See I just did it:

I can get the UMD image, but I can't get the pics that show up during gameplay. I don't think its possible, but I thought I'd try here before giving up.

If you want the pics that come up while the UMD is highlighted just extract the iso and go under PSP_GAME and it will be call PIC1.
