Hello guys/gals...i am a newbie to the forum....i know you guys have seen the dreaded DNS error....to start off...yes i have wireless internet @home...yes i have access to my wireless router(IP address, primary/secondary DNS,subnet mask,etc)...yes i have downloaded latest PSP software on PSP....but....i can't browse internet...1st i thought my PSP was not capable of going to PC sites so i kept it simple(www.google.com).....my DNS error code is 80410414....what makes it so weird is that i can download software updates..but browsing is denied..i test connection and this comes up:

Connection Name Grocery Grip
Signal Strength 85%
SSID johndoe
BSSID more numbers
Channel 6
IP address 123.456.7.8
Subnet Mask 111.111.111.1
heres the kicker.......
Internet Connection Succeeded

what gives?..........y can't i surf?...i have internet connection...i can do everything but browse..sorry for the long winded thread....ANY help would be nice :-)

Hello Gaterbob, Have u tried entering ur psp,s mac address into ur router? Did u manully enter ur settings? Is wlan power save set to off? And is internet browser control on or off?

So your on 2.6?
In your router do you have encryption if its WEP then thats your prob. Change it to WPA PSK (better security easier to use)
It should work, let me know if it doesnt.
