when i try to get the internet on the psp it keeps saying that a connection a connection error has occured. theatteempt to obtain the ip address timed out. can anyone help?

Do you have a wireless router?
If yes read that, if it doesnt help you then ill go into detail.

yeah i just got a wifi max this morning and it is all setup and installed but i just cant understan why it cant detect my ip address

In windows go to start - control panel - network and internet connections - network connections then right click on "your connection" click properties go to advanced tab and check the box that says "allow other network users to connect" try that.
