I have tried several DVD ripping engines
- 1click DVD
- DVDXCopy Platinum
- DVD Shrink

and none can copy "RunDown" movie widescreen version.

Any clues?

Thx

A free method that is guaranteed to work is to rip the disc using DVDFab Decrypter first. Then process the files you get with DVDFab Decrypter through VobBlanker. Once you've done this, just open the files you got from VobBlanker in DVD Shrink. Everything should work normally with no errors. If you get errors by doing this, then there is something wrong with the disc.

pedro348,
Below is a guide that DakotaFan was telling you how to do the movie. It was written by Alkohol and includes Pics. Just substitute Shrink for Recode and you will be fine. You need a ripper that can do that movie and none of the programs you tried can do this. You can also use AnyDVD if you so desire along w/ Shrink if you want to do it that way

Car.Mike:

Followed steps in procedure and had to turn off ripper after
3 hours stuck with no progress ( 70% completion on gage)( no error messages though). After all I believe I may have a defective disc, although no visible damages.

Thaks for your support.

pedro348 ,
Carry the disk back for replacement as that is all you can do now. Good Luck and post back when you get a good one if you have any problems.
