Hi,
anyone else think the sound of MP3s on the PSP is very quiet? i have also transferd video over to the memory stick and they are both quiet on full volume.. it gets drowned out by a busy street.
is there anyway to boost this or am i dong something wrong?
Thanks

What program are you using to convert your movies? In video9 there is a function to raise the movie volume 500%. I think most encoders now have this option. As for mp3 maybe you want to try programs like this http://www.mp3doctor.com/normalize.htm its called audio gain software google it for more options.

i fink the ipod headphones are a really crappy alternative.... i dont think they make such a difference to the sound.
but the the new IN ear headphones are really good, they are not louder but they block out other noises from outside. when u have them on , with no music playing they are like ear muffs.
sony has GREAT quality in ear head phones for 30 pounds its MDR sumting..

Try a cheap pair of headphones that don't have an inline remote control. Amazing difference.

you know, the bose noise blocking headphones work great. loud as hell though, i mean LOUD, but expensive. my friend had some and they were "broke", but i never told him that he never turned them on. so keep it to yourself.
