Ok rachie i am not an export on the video really but there is a thread on this right here ----> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/172920, now as for the music..
Is it in your PSP/Music folder? Make sure that your music isn't in any subfolder, that could be a reason why you put the music on but yet it isnt showing up and it is taking space. By this I mean,
PSP/Music/ <------ place songs here
PSP/Music/Another Folder/ or place here
But the psp wont recognized subfolders so from the music folder, either you place them directly in that folder or you make a set of folders from with the music folder and put them in there, but no folder in folders will be read by the psp!
PSP/Music/AnotherFolder/AnotherFOlder/<----- DONT PLACE SONGS HERE
Get it?
hope this helps
btw are you a woman rachie?

Where did you get the videos? are you sure they are psp format.
Have you tried pspvideo9? it will doit all for you.
Convert, Copy so it makes sure everything goes and it named the way it is supposed to.

Sorry took so long just woke up,
If they are in PSP mp4 format then you can just rename them
www.pspvideo9.com its free hopefully it can help you
But it does sound like you have preformatted psp mp4s so just make sure you name the folders right
Make a folder called MP_ROOT in the root directory of the psp ? eg X:\MP_ROOT then go into that folder and create another folder called 100MNV01, inside MP_ROOT thus X:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01
Now rename your movie if its lost.mp4 then rename it M4V10001.mp4 and move it into the 100MNV01 folder,

well i downloaded pspvideo9 but it doesnt seem to work (or maybe i just dont know how to work it)also i downloaded videora (dont know what for though)lol ok i tryed the last suggestion, but that didnt work either.
when i put my psp onto usb mode a screen comes up with 3 folders MP_ROOT music and psp do i make another folder here or in the psp folder? inside the MR_ROOT there is a folder called 100mnv01 and 100anv01 i have been placing the films into the 100mnv01 but they are not coming up. i have just tryed to make an MR_ROOT folder in the psp folder and put a 100mnv01 foler with a film on it there but that hasnt worked either.
i will keep trying with the vidoe9 thingy how do you get the films from a dvd onto the pspviedo9?
as for the question am i a gamer or just play on the psp, well i do bits of both and as you may tell im not to hot with a pc i can just about manage to do my assignments for college and do emails but im getting better i think lol.
i love worms on the ps2 im addicted to it.

Ok richie,100ANV01 NOT 100anv01, This folder is for movies encoded with AVC, eg FILE NAME:MAQxxxxx.MP4 This folder,100MNV01 is for movies encoded with SP eg FILE NAME:M4Vxxxxx.MP4 which is the worst of the two.
Its MP_ROOT not MR_ROOT
Bring up PSPVIDEO9. Go to setup/profile picker: select a profile, a bit rate of AVC 384kbps is good then click on save.
Click on convert then transcode new video, select the video file u want to convert eg: xxxxx.VOB or xxxxx.AVI then click on start.

firstly make sure your psp is 2.0
go to system settings - system information
If its not 2.0 it cant play AVC ( i dont know if the file is avc or not)
Ok if your folder 100mnv01 is like that try using CAPITALS thus 100MNV01, i dont know maybe it makes a difference. If you put it in 100MNV01 and it doesnt show try 100ANV01.
If it doesnt show up in any
Then its not psp file.
DVD - psp
First rip dvd with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, b4 doing that go to settings and in IFO tab find the Splitting options and select "none"
now rip. You should get a .VOB or maybe some .vobs, your movie is the biggest file.
Now go to pspvideo9 first change the settings in setup choose
SP (works on all psp versions) - go with this one first till you get it working
AVC (2.0 and above)
You can choose the quality settings for both to your preference,
Now go to convert and click "one click transcode"
pick the biggest VOB file from your rip
Once done go to copy and video 9 will do the rest.
Sometimes to keep things peaceful you need a Piece thats Full
