DMS4 lite im lost

i bought a ps2 v9 and installed a DMS4 EZI Lite chip in it. when i was done i got the DMS4 disabled screen and i installed toxic bios and it installed sucessfully, now when i press square the configuration screen comes up and i guess thats good, but i cant play my backup. what else do i need to do to fix this? sometimes the disk starts to work but freezes when it starts to load, but most of the time i get the please insert a ps2 disk. thanks in advance

the only thing I could think of would be that you got a bad chip.

i dont know about the lite chip, but for the Pro chip i had to flash it with the new software before i can play backup games on it, as the factory settings does not play backup games. hope this helps.
