hi, i have bought some dvds with games on them for my PSP. can you tell me how to get the games to play on my PSP as i have tried lots of different things and cant get them to work. HELP ME!!!!!!!!

What sort of games, and what version is your firmware, go to system settings/ system information on your psp.

Ok i have tried following your guide and using VCDROMX to convert the games. When i try and add a game file none of them are recognised. What can i do now? I dont know whether the games are in a different format or what but i cant work out how to do it!!!

Did u rip the games of the dvd into an iso image? then with that image follow the top half of the guide to play it.

How do you rip the games because i have just been copying them from the DVD drive to the hard drive. Is that not right??

the file icon is a pile of books and under file type it says " WinRAR Archive"

Aaaa, now we gettin somewhere, first of all by the sound of it u dont ave WinRAR on ur machine, google it then download it, WinRAR is an extraction app, and this is what u need in order to bust them files open. when u download it, install it, then double click on the icon u mention, click on extract to then select ur destination folder, when u do that get back to me with what u get.

I get the following erorr:
! E:\PSP GAMES\The Con 818mb.7z: CRC failed in The Con 818mb.iso. The file is corrupt

When u double click on the book icon WinRAR will come up on screen, and u should see the folders that r released ur .7z files, drag and drop them to ur destination folder then use another extraction app called 7z google it, when u get it open your folders and get back to me, i hope this works 4 ya...

Ok I have downloaded the program and added the 7Z file to the psp. Now what do i do??? Thanks very much for helping!

no, the 7z file shouldnt be put to psp yet.
you need to open the .7z file with a 7z opener
then the ISO should be inside that.



Sometimes to keep things peaceful you need a Piece thats Full

Are you trying to open it with a 7z compatible program?
How big is the file maybe you have crc errors.

Yea i am using 7-Zip file manager. The files i am trying to open are aproximately 200mb. I have also tried using Zipzag and Extract Now
