What "TYPE" of memory stick does the PSP use ???

You say there is a 2 GB model as well.

I would think that 1GB should be pretty good for a while.

What size do most of you have ?

While I'm at it... what type / model USB cable does the PSP use?

Best price / place to get one?

Thanks ! Tim

We did not get a USB lead "with" our PSP.

Is the USB cable a Standard USB 2.0 to a USB "Mini" ?

yes it is a standard usb 2.0 to a mini usb. And look at amazon.com here because they are wicked cheap. A lot of psp products u see on ebay are from japan or china and dont work. I got the standard psp head phones with the remote because I lost my old ones and it worked, but when I tried it with socom the mic didnt work. When I bought official ones compared them to the china ones there were many differences. Even tho the china ones said psp they didnt have sonys license.

Heres the amazon link http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_n_4/102-0207439-6175326...
remember you want pro duo sony or scandisk.

In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Lexar, sandisk, or sony will work. Here are a couple of shopping sites that sometimes have pretty good deals:
http://www.pricegrabber.com/
http://shopper.cnet.com/
These sites don't sell anything, the just tell you which retailer is selling an item for less.

I have a 4gb Datel HDD, yes the Bulky ones. Not really practical for such a sleek piece of machinery, and read/write times are disastrous. $ony are releasing 4gb memory sticks soon so these drives will become obselete.

I read that the sticks will be around 250 U.S. dollars but I read it off sites that talk about the psp, so I'm not sure how reliable that information is. I'm not sure when it'll be out but let's hope soon so 2gb sticks will be dirt cheap.
