well,I Downloaded a few movies and there like 800-900 Megs and i want to convert them to 700mb or lower so i can burn them to a cdr, i heard divx was good for converting and making them small with really good qaulity, but what version of divx does it? i got Divx Player 6.1 but i dont see any converter with it, Can somone point me into the right direction?

i dont know if this helps but i never burn onto cd-rs just use a DVD-R instead then thers no need tocompress them or shrink the size of them or anythin lyk that. Jus ask if i can help you any further :)

oh ryt i see. well i thnk u can make VCD on cd-rs although i have never done that. sorry i cant really help but i woudl suggest that you ask your question in the general video discussion forum that might get you some better answers. tell them your question an ask about maybe making a VCD or sumthing. im sorry i cant help m8 i just use dvd-rs when i need to burn video. hope u find out what you need to know m8 :)
