HD loader and Burned ps2 games

Ok need to ask this question...Is there a way i can burn a ps2 game to a dvd then start hd loader and copy the burned ps2 game to my hard drive w/o using the magic swap or slide card..btw my ps2 isnt modded ...id figured if it copys to my ps2 hard drive i should be able to play it just use the hd lader disk right instad of magic swap?

you can do it without swap magic, but you still need a slide card or fliptop. The other option is to just put the hard drive in your computer and transfer the games with winhiip, etc.
