Well I have managed to put some videos on my PSP and I am able to view them without problems. However when I am selecting the video file to watch, none of them have the correct names and are instead labelled as "-".
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to rename these files?
btw can PSPs view animated .GIF files, via the pictures menu?

turn your psp on - put it in usb mode
load up psp video 9
go to copy
you will see your psp (with videos) on the right hand side
edit the "Title" there
(don't edit "file" name)

Winavi wont work becasue when you convert videos for psp it need to be in 320X240 or 368x208 winavi is encoding them at huge resolutions no way psp is going to play it. Also PSP doesnt play AVI files, it needs to be mp4, you need a program made for psp conversions like video9 or imtoo.

Thanks mate I'll try it in a bit. I'm changing the names after I've converted them, they play on my PSP but the name shows up as a dash (-) instead of scarface for example.
