Slow running games with swap magic 3.6

I've tried a couple backups I've made now for my PS2 and both of them load super slow. The two games I've tried are X-Men Legends 2 and Dragon Quest 8. Both of these games play prper, but any time anything needs to load (end of a level, going in and out of houses or fights) it takes a good minute or more. No for a game like x-men this isn't as annoying except for hitting the start button, but for dragon quest 8 you have to load something every 30 seconds to a minue, and when the loading times take longer than you get to play for it gets pretty frustrating.

I'm using Nero 6.3.0.2 to burn the discs and I'm burning them onto Maxell DVD+R 8x discs at the lowest speed the program would let me (I think it was 6x). Any help would be appriciated.

Make sure the discs have absolutely no dust or dirt on them.
I had the same problem today.

Also try upgrading Nero and make sure you burner's firmware is up to date. Probably not the problem, but it couldn't hurt.

I had this problem aswell... it's actually very easy

Your problem is NERO,

Use an other Burnprogram, and it will work in the end

I use DVDclone, download this program from the original site, and search a crack for it on http://www.i'manidiot.net edited by ddp

If you want to use a good Image burning engine, and keep it completely legal (i.e. no cracks necessary)....use DVD Decrypter to burn, or use Imgburn (updated burning engine from DVD Decrypter). In my opinion, DVDD/Imgburn are better than even the premium programs available for burning images.
