hello,

any help would be greatly appreciated.
i am running dvd for free in back round and then try to burn on nero. i have got a few movies to work in the past but i am trying to back up Flightplan and it gets about 17% into the read and fails.
i have a new Plextor DL burner with Memerex Media, its not the media because like i had said i have succesfully burned a couple movies and on this problem i cant get past the read process.

Hi bukabook1. The first line in your Nero log beginning with 1A20 is your Nero serial number. It would be a good idea to remove it.

Newer firmware is available for your burner. You can get it at the link below.

Thank you for the Info., i had just updated my Plextor, now im going to work on geting Any DVD. should i delete my dvd for free or leave that as running?? i am assuming that Any Dvd does the same thing as my DVD43 just updated more often and also does that have auto update.

If you want to use AnyDvd, you HAVE to uninstall Dvd43.
Also if you say you want to burn on DL Disc, I found out that people have better experience using DVD Decrypter to burn DL instead of Nero.
if you decide to keep AnyDvd, fine and dandy, as it can decrypt virtually "any" Dvd, but there are also many free programs that can do the job. Dvd43 is not one that I would recommend. Instead, you can download DvdFab Decrypter and DVD Shrink, VobBlanker. here is more info for you:

Also, Memorex is not the media I would recommend. The only DL I would use is Verbatim.

Hey Guys,

updateding my firmware and the little fox (anydvd) worked flawlessly!!!! thank you so so much!!! if your near R.I. would be happy to buy Lunch, mayby even get a lesson on understanding the Nero Log.
