Hello, and thanks in advance for your assistance. For about a year, I was able to burn discs using DVDShrink and Nero 6--no more! The Nero 7 trial version failed repeatedly (usually with 'Unable to recover TOC/Could not perform end of Disc-at-once' messages). I've reinstalled the DVD burner driver. So I removed Nero 7 and installed Nero 6.6.0.18 (which is what I think worked for a year). Same error.
I reshrunk the file, tried again, and to follow is my latest error log.
What's happened to Nero? Please help.

You could try

1)not burning to the edge, try for 4300MB
and
2)Switching to a different media brand. Verbs, TY. Sony MIJ, Fuji MIJ and Maxell MIJ(made in japan)

Use the driver clean tool from the dowload page to remove EVERYTHING Nero and reinstall.Make sure u dont have roxio installed.

Thanks so much. You folks are wonderful. Unfortunately, none of the suggestions worked. I couldn't use the 7 clean tool (it said it might damage my system and automatically closed). I used the general clean tool and then reinstalled the 6.6 update. No good. See log below:

Incidentally, is there a cleanup tool for Roxio? I had the trial version at one point, but uninstalled it when it didn't work either....

you will need to free up some memory, shut down all unnecessary progs including spyware and dont multitask

After looking over the logs. To add to Gwens reply. What did you do between the 2 logs to change

Hello again, and thank you again for your input. The difference between the two virtual disc drivers is probably a result of different Nero versions.
OK, I've done everything you all have suggested on this thread. I even went out and bought Verbatim discs (before I was trying with Memorex and Office Depot brands). Same problem. Is it a hardware problem? The burner works for CDs just fine.
