i donwloaded avi files put shrink doesnt seem to recognize them what do i need what codec or software or anything cna anyone help me

here are two guides for you. DVD Shrink does not handle AVI format. If you have Nero, that will do it.

You can also use ConvertxtoDVD, or Winavi Video Converter and many others. A quick search will give you all the info you need.

what version of Nero i do have it but i visited different forums and i hear stuff that you need somes codec and a different program

You can do that with Nero 6 (Nero Vision Express) or with Nero 7 (Nero Vision 4). Are you able to watch the Avis on your computer? If not you might need some codecs installed:

To convert avi files, I think you'd better install a divx or xvid codec first.
Btw, I used winavi to do conversions for a long time, and it works pretty good. You may also download a free trial version to have a try!

i tryed to use winavi it does convert them from AVI to dvd but when i try to play them on my playstation it wont work what else to i need im trying to download cartoon like simpsons justice league is nothing really big but it wont read on my ps2

i dont know what im doing wrong i put them on my videos i convert them with winavi up to that point i use decripter to put it on a dvd it finish it then i play it on ps2 but it wont work

use quality media verbatim or taiyos keep your burn speed down to 4X
