Yep. Japanese fuji spindles.

For the plus 8x fuji, ritek-r03 will be one of their MID codes. These are very good. The dash taiwanese fuji-be cautious.

The only fuji tys I encountered was on a couple of staples sales on the multi-colored 30 packs, but taiwanese spindles were also mixed in.

p.s. never bought a 20-pack Verb DL yet, got enough of the 10-pack ones to hold
me over for the year~ :)
sure remember that one.. i still got a rain check from that ofice max.. which i found out, is
closing at the end of march.. they may be blowing out the verbs.. that's really all they carry
that's any good. i'll have to see if they have any sony mijs..

this is in long beach, ca officemax..

i'll keep ya posted

ps..: this is mainly for jasper:

i know there is a cdrw media forum here.. but i dont see any media sales threads or
anything.. is it possible to add them to the weekly one here with the dvd ones? i bought a
hundred pack of cdr TY printables from rima.com.. but i know verbatim has sales as well..
sometimes i just dont feel like printing the cds.. and if i dont... they just look funny..

thanx

i checked my local staples, every Maxell is MIT,since it codes out as Ritek i thinki will pass, i had bought few Ritek spindles over a year ago, over the weekend i did a quality scan with Nero and most of them are in the mid 70-90% range quality mark, i already started to reburn them on verbs and TY's :). only MIJ and verbs from now on :)but if i find a good deal on Maxell MIJ will reconsider.

How does the Staples ink cartridge deal work, do they take any cartridge or specific brands/models? just curious, i have few laying around.

I am waiting for staple's next fuji sale if they have another one.Their sony specials usually around once a month.

I've got no option to price match between Best buy and staples. Only a staples in my town. 40 mins away is a best buy,but that town has no staples store. They do have Office max,but OM said they don't price match best buy ads.

The stores don't have to be in the same town do they. You should still be able to take the Best Buy ad to your staples store.

i was at the suprmarket tonight and i see in their media section they had maxell spindles of 50 the + were all MIJ could not believe my eyes, they must be sitting there for years or something. i wonder if supermarkets price match with other stores, now that would be funny, if they do i will get all those mIJ maxells in a second, but they are at regular price 29.99. the supermarket is fry's market place.

anybody try pulling that stunt, matchig prices with a supermarket and a normal electronic/office store?

@Jasper

I do not have a Staples, BB or Office Depot in my town. I called WalMart a month ago to see if they would price match and they said only with stores in town.

I don't know if that is a local rule or corporate.

Those are the sweet hitachi maxells!

Staples use to carry the 25 packs of verbatim 16x,but that was a while back-when they first came out.

Office depot has the best selection: Verbatim/maxell/Office depot brand/along with the crappy philips and maybe memosux?

How do you get $3 off? If you bring in any empty ink jet cartridge at office max?? Why do they give you $3 off? I probably should have made a new topic but i saw it in this one so someone has to know.

BJ's has Fuji on sale, 9.99 for 50 pak. at register, reg. 19.99, no mail-in required. I picked up MIJ (TY) in West Hartford, CT store. I saw them at a store in MA also, but they only had MIT. I guess it is hit or miss for MIJ, but a great deal if you can find them.
